One of the things I value most is simply talking with people and hearing what matters to them. I believe being approachable and a good listener are some of the most important qualities anyone serving on council can have. I care deeply about keeping Tillsonburg welcoming, family-oriented, and connected while supporting thoughtful growth and strong local programs. Tillsonburg means so much to me, and if given the opportunity to serve on council, I would give it my absolute all every single day for the people and families who call this community home.
If you see me around town, please come say hi! I would truly love the opportunity to meet you, hear your thoughts, and connect with more of the amazing people who make Tillsonburg such a special community.
Hi, I’m Lindsey! I am a proud Tillsonburg resident, mom of three young children, small business owner, and someone who genuinely loves this community.
I was born and raised in Tillsonburg. After spending a few years away in early adulthood, I knew this was where I wanted to return to raise my family. This town has always felt like home to me, and giving back to the community that shaped me has always been important.
You’ll usually find me at a soccer field, school event, volunteering, cheering on my kids at sports, at the park, or simply out connecting with people around town. I currently serve on the Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Board as Treasurer, where I also run the Timbits soccer program for children ages 1–5 and coach within the organization. Last year, I helped co-start a women’s soccer league here in Tillsonburg, which has already grown to six teams and more than 80 women participating this season.
I’m also a member of the Kinettes executive, Treasurer of the St. Joseph’s School Parent Council, and work as a Noon Hour Supervisor at St. Joseph’s School, where I have the opportunity to work directly with local children and families every day. As a proud member of the Tillsonburg Chamber of Commerce through my small business, I also enjoy supporting and connecting with other local business owners.
Community Involvement & Leadership
I believe in giving back to the community and being actively involved in the organizations that help make Tillsonburg a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
